Product Manager, Payments Infrastructure (Remote)
Role Overview
Cyclops builds the infrastructure layer that enables payment companies to offer crypto and stablecoin products to their merchants and end customers. As our Product Manager for Payments Infrastructure, you will own the products and platform capabilities that our enterprise clients (payment service providers, payment processors, and fintechs) depend on to operate at scale.
You will own the products that enterprise clients use every day to run their crypto operations; including the dashboard where they manage transactions and monitor performance, the payment infrastructure that moves their money, and the compliance workflows that keep them operating within regulatory requirements.
This is a high-ownership role at a fast-moving startup. You will lead discovery, scoping, and delivery across multiple products while partnering closely with the Product Director on product strategy and client relationships. You bring deep knowledge of how payments infrastructure is built and operated. You understand the pain points of payment service providers and enterprise merchants from the inside (settlement flows, reconciliation, multi-currency operations, compliance workflows) and you can translate that knowledge into product decisions that earn the trust of our most demanding clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise platform experience end-to-end
Lead the scoping, discovery, and delivery of the products and platform capabilities that enterprise clients use to operate with Cyclops. This includes our enterprise dashboard for transaction management and configuration, settlement and payment tooling, and compliance and verification workflows. Define the product vision, prioritize the roadmap, and ensure every surface is built to the standard enterprise clients expect. - Own enterprise-grade compliance and operational quality
Drive the roadmap for compliance workflows, merchant verification processes, and reconciliation features. Work closely with Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure our products meet regulatory requirements across jurisdictions without sacrificing usability or delivery speed. - Run structured discovery with enterprise clients
Conduct discovery with payment service providers and fintech clients and prospects to understand their operational needs, integration requirements, and pain points. Translate those insights into clearly framed problems, validated hypotheses, and actionable roadmap decisions. - Build the foundation for new client onboarding
As Cyclops expands its client base, define what an enterprise-ready integration experience looks like. Work with cross-functional teams to reduce the time it takes for a new client to go from signing to processing their first live transaction. - Partner closely across teams
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Partner Engineering, and Compliance to deliver initiatives that are technically sound, regulatory compliant, and operationally reliable. Provide the product context that enables go-to-market and client activation efforts to land effectively. - Drive outcomes, not features
Define measurable outcomes for every initiative. Track performance throughout development and use data to guide prioritization, iteration, and investment decisions. - Communicate clearly and proactively
Keep teams and leadership aligned on progress, decisions, risk, and learnings. Provide visibility into what we’re building, why it matters, and what we’ve validated so far.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of product management experience in payments infrastructure, fintech, or business-to-business enterprise software.
- Deep understanding of payment flows, including settlement, reconciliation, multi-currency, payouts, and the compliance landscape that surrounds them.
- Experience building products for or within payment service providers, payment processors, acquiring banks, or business-to-business fintech platforms.
- Proven ability to own complex, multi-stakeholder products end-to-end; from scoping through delivery.
- Comfortable working with backend systems, application programming interfaces, and integration patterns.
- Strong discovery practice: able to run customer interviews, define hypotheses, and validate assumptions before committing to build.
- Effective communicator who can drive alignment across engineering, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
- Uses AI tools daily to accelerate discovery, prototyping, analysis, and decision-making.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with crypto, stablecoins, or blockchain-based payment infrastructure.
- Experience with settlement operations, including multi-currency settlement, net settlement, or real-time settlement models.
- Experience working with compliance, merchant verification, anti-money laundering, or cross-border regulatory requirements.
- Background in enterprise platform products: dashboards, operational tooling, or multi-tenant systems.
- Familiarity with developer-facing products, APIs, or software integration toolkits.
