Role

Marketing Operations & Data Manager

Payments infrastructure · Full-time · Remote-first

Role Overview

There are a million stablecoin companies. No one is the best at everything. Cyclops offers all the benefits of other leading stablecoin platforms (by fully integrating them), while complementing their weaknesses (each of which have many). This only matters if the leaders in the payments industry understand this.

We are hiring a Marketing Operations & Data Manager to drive improved execution and outcomes across the marketing function — digital presence, every conference, and every interaction with the payments ecosystem. You will play a key role in getting Cyclops to the #1 position when payments companies work on stablecoin solutions.

To be qualified, you must be a payments industry pro, who understands how these companies operate inside and out, from their partnerships and geographic foci, to their internal processes for decision-making and product development.

You will be responsible for looking at the marketing function holistically and ensuring that strategy and execution are always aligned with the mission and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing analytics and reporting — build and maintain dashboards that track pipeline contribution, CAC, LTV, conversion rates, campaign performance, and channel attribution. Make the data easy to read and impossible to ignore.
  • Event and field marketing analytics — build the measurement framework for our conference and event investments. Cost per meeting, pipeline generated per event, sponsor ROI, and post-event attribution. You will have a view on which payments conferences deliver and which do not, grounded in data.
  • Marketing tech stack — own the selection, implementation, and integration of marketing tools. CRM hygiene, MAP configuration, attribution modeling, and lead routing all live here.
  • Digital presence and SEO — own the data layer of our organic search strategy. Keyword tracking, content performance, backlink analysis, technical SEO auditing, and ranking monitoring. You understand how search is evolving with AI and you have opinions about what Cyclops should do about it.
  • AIO and GEO tracking — monitor and measure how Cyclops appears in AI-generated search results (Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.). Build a framework for tracking AI citation frequency and develop playbooks to improve our presence in these surfaces.
  • Partner campaign operations — own the operations of marketing campaigns with clients and partners
  • Account-based marketing (ABM) infrastructure — build and maintain target account lists, intent signal monitoring, and ABM measurement specific to the payments infrastructure buyer.
  • Competitive and market intelligence — track competitor digital presence, search share, and content performance. Produce regular intelligence briefings for the marketing and leadership team.

The Payments Industry Knowledge We Expect

You do not need to be a payments engineer. But you need to understand the industry well enough to know who our buyers are, how they search, what they read, and what conferences they attend. Specifically:

  • You know the difference between a PSP, an orchestrator, an acquirer, a PayFac, and an ISO — and you understand how their marketing and buying behavior differs.
  • You understand the B2B payments conference ecosystem. You know which events matter (Money20/20, ETA TRANSACT, MPE, Sibos, Nacha, MRC, PayExpo) and how to measure ROI from them.
  • You have worked with payments industry data before — whether that is transaction volume metrics, processing economics, or the terminology that appears in payments press and analyst coverage.
  • You understand what makes a payments company's digital presence credible to a technical B2B buyer, and how that differs from a consumer fintech brand.

Required Qualifications

  • Our ideal candidate has worked at a payments orchestrator, PSP, network, acquirer, PayFac, or a platform that serves payment companies as its primary function.
  • Strong data and analytics skills. You are comfortable with Semrush, google analytics, hubspot, and modeling things out in excel. You can build useful trackers.
  • SEO and AIO experience in a B2B context. You have owned keyword strategy, content performance tracking, technical SEO audits, and rank monitoring. You understand how search results pages are changing and have adapted your approach accordingly.
  • Marketing automation platform. You have owned or closely managed a MAP (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or equivalent) and understand how it connects to a CRM.
  • Stages of the funnel and attribution modeling. You know how to build and defend a multi-touch attribution model and identify needle movers up and down the funnel.
  • Project management discipline. You can own multiple workstreams simultaneously, hit deadlines, and communicate blockers early.
  • Strong written communication. Your documentation, briefings, and presentations are clear and direct.

What We Do Not Want

  • Marketing operations generalists with no payments context.
  • People who are primarily report consumers rather than report builders. This role builds the data function; it does not inherit it.
  • Candidates whose analytics experience is limited to social media or consumer marketing metrics. B2B pipeline attribution in a long-cycle enterprise context is the job.
  • Anyone who treats SEO as a set-and-forget function. We need someone actively monitoring, testing, and adapting.
